The PPP utilizes several wind and solar sources which provide a near continuous power supply. The PPP utilizes multiple
separate and independent wind sources, as well as multiple separate and independent PV solar sources. Each source has its own maximum power, maximum output, under sun or wind conditions. One solar source performs better in direct light (Poly or Mono Crystalline), while the other (Amorphous) panels perform better in low irradiance.
Similarly, one wind source performs better in low wind, while the other source has a higher output in high wind.
Additional renewable energy sources (i.e.: hydroelectric, geothermal) can be interfaced with an existing PPP system.
